Massimiliano Liberatore (a.k.a. DROP 1410) Born in Caracas, Venezuela, studied drumming since the age of 12 with the professor Domingo Luís Roverano (Uruguay) and specialises in this instrument with the well recognised drumming master from Venezuela, Professor José Matos (España). He shares experiences and apprenticeship during this period with his professor and dear friend Juan Hernández. He then also starts to explore and study of rhythm in Indian classical music during the years 2002-03 with the master Yonder Rodriguez.

He migrates to Barcelona, Spain in 2004 and continues his studies of hindú rhythm with the master Tapan Bhattacharya (Varanasi -India) up to 2007 playing the Tablas complimented by the Udú instrument. During this period his worked on his project Wanady Beats, which fuses ethnic sounds from the Venezuelian Amazon Forrest and his knowledge of classical Indian Tablas. He also performs in several concerts and festivals as a Tabla player with the Argentinian band, Jirafas en la India. At the end of 2007 he decides to change his artistic name to DROP 1410 and begins to produce music more flexible and open to various genres. Since the spring of 2008 he has immeresed in chiptune (8 bits) music. Currently DROP 1410 mixes chiptune from GAMEBOYS, circuit bent electronics and experimental electronic music with touches of Indie, leftfield Hip Hop, Dubstep and Drum & Bass music. Influenced by the Los Angeles experimental Hip Hop he highly values artists such as Nosaj Thing, Hudson Mohawke, Flying Lotus and Roots Manuva. He has been a member of the collectives Dikru (Venezuela), Micro Bcn and Lowtoy (España). WANADY BEATS and DROP 1410 have performed in various festivals during the last decade. Some that stand out are "Sonarmatica" (2009), "PUMA City" in Alicante (2009), "Músicas del Mundo" in Aranjuez (2005 y 2006), "Música Electrónica de la Casa Encendida" in Madrid (2005), "Etnimálaga" (2005) and "Interparla" (2004). He has shared stage with respected musicians such Egres, Tamen, Jungle Jungle, Surco, Take, Emmerson, MKC, Demetrio CCS, José Matos, Tapan Bhattacharya, Tasama project, Rabato, Ralp, Meneo, Lautaro, Brujo, Enildo Rasúa, Latrama, Eduard de Negri fusion-jazz trio, Climent Lanaspa.
