I was born in New York 1943!
I have been taking pictures since I was eight, and have never stopped! My first camera was an Argus c3. I used the Weston master series of light meters.
Garry Winogrand was a counceler at camp Taconic when I was there as a camper. From the age of eight till 11 or 12 he was my personal teacher in the art of black an white. we took pictures of everything but mostly people. As I got older we would meet in Manhattan and roam the streets taking pictures.
I loved that man! Google him. His work is in every Museum.
I have always used Nikon and Leica Cameras. I now use a Nikon d-90, a d-80 and 3 old d-70s.
I worked for Time-Life in Boston from 1964 to 1972.
I graduated tufts Dental School and moved to Jerusalem in 1968.
I had a stroke Dec31st.
I am now Scanning my Time-Life work with a Nikon ls-2000.
I am planning to open a website when I have enough pictures edited.
