  "Kris was one of my first non-"local actual friend" contacts I made on Flickr and his stream and general outlook played a role in my gradual foray into FGR and Flickr in general. He just may not be aware of this fact yet.
  
  I found Kris after seeing one of his photos discussed on the 365 Days Podcast (go watch them!). I added him as a contact because of that photo and I'm so glad that I did. He is one hell of a photographer, but even more than that, he's got a great sense of humor and is genuinely fun.
  
  And one last thing: the guy is wicked smart and uses that to help shape today's young minds. How cool is that?
  
  Although I just caught a glimpse of his 365 shot for today (325). I may want to rethink submitting this as I think he just lost a few IQ points...."

  It's been a little over a year now since Kris came sniffing about, letting me know that he was beginning to post on Flickr and I have to say that he angers me greatly.
  
  I have stood by the wayside, a cauldron of seething envy, and witnessed his photo-stream grow and transform itself into the singular voice of a man who genuinely cares about his work and damn it all, is an all-round nice person to boot.
  
  I had once harbored hopes that he would burn-out, become consumed by a crippling malaise, and in the end resort to reposting internet porn.
  
  But no. He perceivers, expands his vision and posts a piece of himself every damn day.
  
  What a show-off.
  
  What a nice guy.
  
  BTW - he still owes me money."
