I've had a camera since I was 11 years old - a Box Brownie as I recall. I've lost count of the number I've had since then.
I take pictures all the time and am glad I do: my now-adult kids adore poring over images of themselves as babies.
I try to capture the image I want as I click and rarely Photoshop after the fact ... OK I crop but that's about it.
Current tools include a Nikon Coolpix L16 p&s a Nikon D40 and a Panasonic DMC-TZ10. Yes, I lust for better lenses ... but don't we all! My favourites right now are a Nikon 50mm f/1.4 and 18-70mm f/1-3.5-4.5
