I've loved photography since I was a little girl and saw my father with his German camera taking black and white photos of me and my sister. I've been told I have a "good eye" for photography by many people whom I respect, some amateur photographers, some professional. I own both digital and film cameras, but still love film the most.

A big thank you to barefoottaxman for giving me a pro account for my birthday!!! You're wonderful!!! :)

You may notice some haiku amongst people's comments and in the captions of my photos. This has become a lovely thing that I and some of my contacts that I know personally have started doing. So, if you are keen on writing haiku or any other sort of poem as a comment ... feel free to do so!
