"I've known this clart for 18 months and he is a right lotta fun. He's the patron of a fantastic family, mascot of an assortment of fun units and a friend to the stars of North Yorkshire... Indeed everyone he meets likes him, despite the fact he always parties harder than the next man. I'm the next man. What a bocking hero!"

"DragonDrop... yup, he's a lateral thinker.

I've been fortunate to know him for a few years now. And it's true, he's one of the friendliest, most interesting and down-to-earth people you're ever likely to meet.

His photos range from the heartfelt candid family shots, to intriguing, experimental and bizarre images. One thing is for sure, he has a good eye and a large dose of creativity."

"... slightly embarrassed that i hadn't written this before now, thought i had done already, but ho hum...

I have been fortunate and lucky enough to know DragonDrop for hundreds of years now.
To me he is and always has been a great friend, an ongoing creative inspiration, a power-house of quick wit and incisive perception, a confidante and my bench mark for what is and isn't in so many ways. He is, considering he is an incredible father to three brilliant kids and doting husband to an equally brilliant wife, also one of the hardest working and hardest playing people i have ever known. His ability to switch seamlessly between the two whilst juggling life with one hand, and his family with the other is a source of constant bewilderment to me.

And if i didn't know better, i'd swear he had invented the internet.

He's the man to call if you want some quiet company, he's the man to call if you want the party started, he's the man to call if you want the music played, he's the man to call if you want it designed, promoted and presented... he's basically the man to call.

i don't want to overuse a phrase i've used before, but those of you who don't know him, really are missing out on something...

More relevantly to the context of Flickr though, he is an outstanding photographer, in the traditional sense of the word and also an unstoppable blogographer, in very much the newest sense of the term, cos i just made the word up.

Now thats enough of all that, i'm going to go and make myself a coffee."

"DragonDrop has been my bestest chum for nearly 15 years. I first met him sitting under a tree in Yorkshire (he was a hugger back then you see) and our friendship grew from there. He is a highly creative chap - top designer, great photographer, banging bongoer - a bit of an all round clever person, but not in that sort of swotty way. He also a proud dad and makes a mean lamb spagbol. I am returning the favour/torture and getting him to be my best man! Right, that's enough compliments for one website."
