Dan was born in 1980 into a family of ten children. He began photography classes when he was 12 and continued for the next six years. He picked up his first SLR from a thrift store. Even though all of the knobs and buttons didn't function, it was enough to get him hooked.

Since 2001, dan has invested in state of the art photography equipment, taken advanced photography education courses, and traveled abroad in the search for excellent photography. He prides himself not only in capturing the perfect moments from the perfect angles, but also in his work in his digital photo lab where he takes each photograph and digitally masters it.

Dan is married to Carrie C. Pearce and has two children, Taya and Noah. He currently resides in Alpine, Utah. Aside from photography, Dan is an avid skier, business owner, and website designer.
