I'm not an artist. My siblings are artistic and my father was a wonderful photographer. I don't seem to share that gene but I can still appreciate people who do.

I have always loved taking pictures despite the fact that I don't have 'the eye". I figure if I take 100 shots and one looks good, then I'm quite happy. (thank goodness for digital! Film processing was so expensive way back in the day.)

After years of playing with and losing (or breaking) my little P&S cameras, I finally got me a Canon, level entry DSLR. I fell in love. I fell in love with the click click, snap snap sounds and the quality of the pictures. Like my little cameras, I carry it everywhere but it's much harder to misplace.

I love flickr for all that it has to offer. Groups, ideas, talent. I can sit for hours looking and admiring other peoples photographs. Every so often life gets in the way and I continue to carry my camera but may not use it as much as I should. Flickr makes me use it and that's a good thing.

Also, if I add you as a contact, I obviously like your photos and somehow, the beauty and humor you create makes me feel good and for that, I thank you!
