I first arrived on Flickr in February 2005 and seem to have rarely left the place since. You will usually find me hanging around in Utata - do drop by sometime and say hello. Utata's a great place to visit for good company, conversation and some stunning photography:



I'm also a big fan of the Flickr Commons, and help manage the Indicommons web site.



I work for myself, doing IT consultancy and software development for a variety of people - from small back-room businesses to major blue chip companies. I've been building software for as long as I can remember and am responsible for all the back-end systems and Flickr integration over at utata.org.



I'm the author of a book about building Flickr-based applications. It's called Flickr Mashups and is published by Wiley under their Wrox imprint.
