I loved flickr from the first time I noticed it. But Yahoo decided to "censor" the use of flickr for german users. German users are not able to see photos, that are "restricted". We only can see the "normal" and "moderate" photos. This is maybe not that bad, because most of the photos are "moderate" even if they contain a certain amount of nudity. It is maybe also ok to do this, if you are not able to check the age of the member. But flickr/yahoo are able to check this. But even if I proof, that I am old enough to see "restricted" photos, they won't let me do that.

This is not ok. This is a form of censorship, and it shows, how flickr/yahoo is thinking. A company, that starts to "censor" the photos I may want to see, is also able to censor more. They showed me, that they have the technology, and that they are willing und able to use it.

Thats why I left Flickr a year ago and I am deeply disappointed that nothing changed.
