I'm still trying to find my niche as a photographer. So far, I've invested my other interests into this realm, shooting subjects of which I'm already familiar. Hopefully, over time, something more cohesive and consistent will take shape.

I shoot with a Canon EOS Rebel XSi, a Canon EF 50mm f/1.4 lens, and a Canon EFS 18-55mm kit lens. Some photos -- taken prior to purchasing the Canon -- were shot using a Fuji Finepix 2.0.

I am also a contributing music editor at Blogcritics Magazine and I publish my own blog where I write mostly on music but also on books, film, and various other pop culture topics that pique my curiosity.

I hold a B.A. in English, concentrated in American and British literature, from the University of South Florida.

I would rather go to a concert than to a movie.

The artist I've seen the most in concert is Billy Joel, who I've seen 12 times -- not necessarily because he's my all time favorite musician, but because he just keeps coming back to town.

My best friends are my Basset hounds, Rufus (foreground) and Noah (background).



I have an unnatural love of Dr. Pepper.

I find it nearly impossible to relax -- even when I'm relaxing.

I have more going on in my mind than I could ever accomplish in my life.
