Don Iannone is a strategic planning and organization development consultant, speaker, author, photographer and poet, who lives in tiny Mayfield Village, an eastern suburb of Cleveland, Ohio.

Photography is back in Don's life after a break. He first took photography seriously during his early college years when he took several courses on both the art and technology of photography. At that time, Don considered photography as his main field of work.

What does photography mean to Don? It is a refreshing way of seeing the world with open eyes and a heart and mind that find interest in people, communities, nature, and other things. Photography is also a vehicle for visualizing and creating future realities.

Over the past 32 years, Don has worked in the field of economic and community development. He is now incorporating photography into his work with communities and organizations. Don's clients find his photography valuable because it helps them visualize their world and themselves more clearly, honestly and creatively.

Don also uses photography and poetry as personal insight and healing tools in helping mentally ill and hospice patients cope with their major personal life challenges.

Here within the Flickr community, Don serves as the admin for two groups. The first is called The Healing Place. Please stop by and learn more about the group: www.flickr.com/groups/the_healing_place/

The second group is The Wilds, a group with photos from the The Wilds 10,000-acre conservation area in southern Ohio. You can find this group at: www.flickr.com/groups/thewilds

"Don is a very creative and imaginative photographer. This is why I keep coming back to his site day after day! I am terrible with words but I hope you can gather that what I am trying to say is that I look up to you and admire you. Having Don as a contact is one of Flickr's best rewards, and he is definitely one of my favorite people on Flickr. Thank you for posting and being a good friend:))"

"I'm always inspired by Don's view of the world which he captures in his photos so brilliantly. Each time I return to Don's photostream, I am treated to such eye-candy and am WOW'd by Don's talent as a photographer.

Don is such a positive force of nature and creates beauty in the spoken word as well as in his photos.

I am delighted and blessed to have found Don on Flickr and enjoy exchanging comments on our photostreams."

"Don is a fabulous photographer, and I feel that I've been privileged to see and learn from his work. I'm fairly new to this hobby, especially the digital end, and I've gotten a lot of good pointers from Don's super quality images. I look forward to continuing to learn from and enjoy it in the future."

"If he’s not busy kicking down Christmas displays or writing beautiful poetry, you can find Don outdoors capturing delightful images of the world around him in N.E. Ohio. He has an eye for beauty that only a poet and an artist can see. His photostream is a seamless integration of stunning and lovely photos, good humor, fascinating information, beautiful words and poetry. If I had to give just one award for the most improved photographer in flickr, hands down, it would have to go to Don. And the exponential increase in both his contacts and comments on his works is proof of that fact. Yet, despite his enormous list of flickr contacts, he always takes the time to visit your photostream regularly and leave genuine and often humorous comments. I am proud to author one of his first testimonials."

"Don's Waldlandschaften sind reine Poesie. Er versteht es, die Farben und Formen meisterhaft im Bild festzuhalten. Ein Genuß, seine Bilder anzuschauen.
Don's Woodlandpictures are pure Poetry. He knows, to take the coulors and forms into a picture. It is wonderfull, to see his pictures."
