My name is Dominic and I just turned 50 years old. I am single and my greatest love is Fire Island. I love the beaches and the overall peace that you find there. When I am in the Island I feel like I am stepping back in time. There is a totally different aura that comes from people. Everyone seems to be so simple and friendly and very corteous. I get greeted by total strangers that I never even met in my life. There are some very great photographers on flickr who have managed to capture some spectacular pictures of the Sunsets that I never even knew you could view from the Island. This coming season I plan to visit the island more often. I want to go to Cherry Grove more often who I absolutely love with all the quaint and colorful shops and especially visit Ocean Grove. I have never been to Ocean Grove before. I want to see the light house, and visit the the quaint little Catholic Church that exists in the island. I discovered the last two through a few photographs I saw here on Flickr. I just joined Flickr and I am excited about this service .
