Nasci e cresci no Rio de Janeiro. Me formei em Publicidade na UFRJ, e foi na faculdade que a fotografia entrou na minha vida. Trabalhei em grandes agências de propaganda -- como McCann-Erickson e Giovanni+DraftFCB -- e, ao mesmo tempo, me aprofundei na fotografia. Um dia, a fotografia se tornou mais importante do que a publicidade para mim. Então, decidi me mudar para Nova York. Lá, me especializei em fotografia de moda, portrait e iluminação no ICP/International Center of Photography. Em Nova York, trabalhei com Andrea Blanch, fotógrafa de moda e beleza, que no passado foi assistente de Richard Avedon. Agora, estou de volta ao Rio.


I was born and raised in Rio de Janeiro. I’m graduated in Advertising at UFRJ (Rio de Janeiro’s Federal University), and it was in college that photography came into my life. I have worked for huge advertising agencies -- such as McCann-Erickson and Giovanni+DraftFCB -- and, at the same time, I’ve gone further on photography. One day, photography became more important than adverstising to me. Then, I decided to move to New York. There, I specialiazed myself on lighting, fashion and portrait photography at ICP/International Center of Photography. In New York, I have worked with Andrea Blanch, beauty and fashion photographer, former Richard Avedon’s assistant. Now, I’m back in Rio.
