The main reason for the unwanted behavior is a breakdown in communication between human and dog. Dogs do not speak or understand English or any other human language.

Dogs are pack animals and upon entering your home, you become part of the dogs pack. As a pack animal there has to be a hierarchy and it must find its place in that hierarchy. There is no fairness or equality in their system and above all else there has to be a ‘Pack Leader’.
