I am a wife of 20 years and mother of 2 girls which you will see in my photos, I got my first digital camera two years ago on Mothers day, and I got a new DSLR in 2007. I can see a change in the way I photograph and the improvements I have made but I still have a long way to go, I really appreciate all my FLICKR friends and their encouragement and comments, they have brought me this far and I look foward to going further and learning more, Photography is a passion that I take seriously, and when I don't shoot or am not inspired I get depressed.
I love being outdoors and my youngest daughter is always with me when I am home, she has her own camera because she likes to make pictures as well, she is 9 and My oldest daughter likes to photograph and has been the recepient of 2 of my regular film cameras, (I loved those but to me nothing compares to my digital,) anyway she has been using those and enjoys making pictures of her and her friends and scrapbooking.
I attend The church of Christ and have all my life, I have many friends there, trying to help my girls appreciate the simple things in this life of "I WANT IT NOW! " I hope to help them appreciate that the best things in life are the ones you wait for, work for, and pray for. I try to make God the center of my life and the more I photograph the more I realize that he is with me everyday, sharing the simple little beauties all around that I used to overlook.
O.k. well I think I have been on here long enough to warrant this comment, I really love the invites to the groups that I get but for those of you whom I do not join the group you invite me too it is probably because it has rules, and I am so bad at following rules, I am such a rebel...LOL, I usually join groups that have no rules and if there are any they are manageable, maybe it isn't a good idea but if I joined every group that I was invited to that had rules I would never have any time to post pictures or visit with my Flickr freinds, So for future reference if your group has a bunch of binding rules don't invite me, it is just to much to keep up with.
