My background is in candid photography - my preferred style is landscapes with people (where there is more than one subject). My portraiture work has evolved from that.

I have moved back to film and avoid all but the most basic processing. Much of what I do could probably be achieved with an iphone and Instamatic software download. I am searching for an excuse to keep using film - any ideas? At the moment I am using a Nikon FM with Nikkor lenses, a Werra (Carl Jeiss Jena) from the 1960's and a Kodak Retina (1936). Since moving to Prague I have become considerably more interested in still life and the subtler styles of photographers such as Josef Sudek.
