I live in New York City. I take pictures of things.
For the record, I am completely against any and all forms of censorship: corporate, governmental or otherwise. I believe that Yahoo! and Flickr have made a serious error in judgment by deciding to prevent certain Flickr users from seeing certain images based on their point of geographical origin. Some users have had their accounts suspended or revoked for posting images that are not even considered obscene in most Western countries (the United States not included). I have decided not to quit Flickr because I am too attached to its interface and its users. But I am extremely frustrated and disappointed that this service I have grown very fond of has taken a turn for the worse.

Newell the Jewell says:
"Daniel’s ability to capture quirky advertisements is just magical. Many of these photos are just laugh out loud hysterical. Interspersed with these captures are those of his son. I find it just incredible to experience the awe of this child’s life on Flickr."

"dM's feet, eyes, mind and camera are always on the move. As those wheels keep on turning dM keeps on taking care to share whatever he sees and feels on his way around the city. He's ever the curious sojourner observer. Also dM's photos of his son Asher, the Kid Who Loves Life, show you loud and clear "this is how to live." That kid knows how to live! No reason ever to lose that. If you want to see where Asher's coming from, check out the pix of dM.nyc."
