I began photography with a cheap Kodak Brownie plastic camera in 1980 (a renamed anniversary model originally sold as the Kodak pocket A1). I've used a Canon T70 35mm film SLR since 1986, which remained my primary camera up until April, 2006, when I got a Canon 5D digital SLR. I also got a Nikon Coolpix E4300 in 2002, but only really used digital as a secondary option until the 5D.

I work for Canon Informations System Research Australia in lens quality research, so I get to use all sorts of cool top-end equipment at work.

I retain copyright on all my photos. You may not use them for any purpose without my permission. I will allow some use for non-commercial educational purposes on a case-by-case basis. I will also consider licensing photos for commercial use for an appropriate fee. If you are interested in either of these, please send me a message. I will not allow photos to be used for any commercial purpose in exchange for "credit and a link", so don't ask.
