Born in Indianapolis, raised from the age of 2 in Alaska, mostly in Anchorage. Moved to Seattle in the summer of 2001. Currently living in Kent, just a bit south of Seattle.

Past cameras include an old film point and shoot, an early cheap no-name digital, a Kodak DX3500, an Olympus C2500L and a Canon Powershot A95.

Current kit: Casio EX-Z77 point-and-shoot for day-to-day snapshots; Nikon D70s with Nikkor 24mm f/2.8D, 50mm f/1.4D and 18-70mm f/3.5-4.5G; Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8; Quantaray 28mm f/2.8, 70-210mm f/4-5.6 and 55-200mm f/4-5.6 lenses; and a Nikon SB-800 flash for when I'm pretending I know what I'm doing.
