A “work in progress” photographer, I spend much of my free time documenting historic New Bern (where I live), and out on North Carolina's Outer Banks, capturing seascapes, nautical stuff, nature, and of course those awesome sunsets! In the fall, I like to do photo-walks up on the Blue Ridge Mountains, in the western part of our state. North Carolina has a lot to offer!

Lately, I've been getting into HDR processing. "I feel a since of artistic pride when I pull one off!" I'm sure I have a long way to go, before I can begin to compare to the more experienced talent here on Flickr. In any event, I've just added a few of my HDR attempts.





My Tools:
I typically use Canon gear: camera, lenses, etc. Add to that the soft stuff: Photoshop CS4, Aperture 3.0 and PhotoMatix 4.0.
