discovering places' photostream

I'm 30-something, happily married, and childfree. I'm Canadian and reside in Canada (just recently having moved back to my home province of BC from Ontario), but my husband is English and we plan to travel to England as often as possible to visit his friends and family.

I'm actually a fan of places more than a fan of photography, and my photos should be viewed within that context. I love discovering new places, seeing the scenery, and soaking up the ambiance. I take photos to remember the places I visit, and I view other people's photos to see what other places look like. I know very little about the technical aspect of photography, and I know my photos can't compete with the beautiful, amazing works of art I often see here on Flickr.
