So, why "Disappearing Atlanta?" As metro Atlanta has experienced so much development recently, I have been photographing condemned houses (and abandoned and occupied houses that "look" condemned) where the style of the house is noteworthy. This is a window to how our needs were met in the past by architecture. I take the same kinds of photos when I'm out of town.

Almost all the domestic architecture photos are from Georgia and metro Atlanta as while near home I have the time to stop the car, get out and shoot them. Before I joined flickr, I didn't know of anyone else doing this.

Photography is 90% observational and 10% technique. A minority of my digital shots are retouched, usually to fix red-eye, or to convert the image to black and white.
