Dirtblonde are a rock'n'roll band from Liverpool, England.

Dirtblondehave been played on XFM, BBC Radio One and BBC Radio 6. Alan McGee (of Creation Records fame) played ‘The Hangmen’ on his BBC radio show, and compared the band to The Jesus And Mary Chain. The song was also called “one of the loudest records of the year so far” by John Kennedy (XFM). Other legendary DJs who also played the single include Steve Lamacq and Nic Harcourt of KCRW in California.

The band toured as fas afield as Brazil and New York (when they were booked to play Death Disco NYC by the legendary BP Fallon) and played at the Leeds Festival, the biggest in Britain. Past gigs include support slots with the likes of Regina Spektor, The View, Bombay Bicycle Club; a few gigs for Alan McGee; and a set at Carl Barat's Bright Young Things club night.

In 2009, Dirtblonde played at the South By Southwest festival in Austin, Texas. The local press named Dirtblonde one of the Top 8 “must-see” bands at SXSW, listing Dirtblonde alongside bigger names such as Primal Scream…not bad, eh? For quotes about Dirtblonde click here.

In 2010 the band released the limited-edition 'Brooklyn / White Horses' single on cassette tape.
