Photography is fun! How it started,

End 2007, I was walking through a big electronics warehouse and saw a nice Canon DSLR in showcase. Instantaneously thinking "Is that something for me"? Finally I bought the camera and a new passion was born, Photography!

In the beginning a lot of experimenting. Exposure, shutterspeed, composition and aperture, all new terms. After an introduction course at Canon I quickly visited the world wide web for learning. Here I improved my skills a lot.

Since secondary school aviation interested me. I started with taking photos of airplanes. You can find them at jetphotos.net and airliners.net . After two years bored with this subject and was searching for more challenge. At that time I was living in Almere nearby the Oostvaardersplassen (nature reserve). The nature is beautiful over there. For wildlife and macro photography undoubted recommended! Patience is here important, nature is unpredictable. This is not the case when taking photos in a Zoo, therefore you find me regularly in Ouwehands Dierenpark Rhenen.

Nowadays I live with my wife and son in Cothen. This village lies nearby the Utrechtse Heuvelrug, in one of the most beautiful regions of The Netherlands.
