Carol DiNolfo is an award-winning photographer whose art has been on display in juried gallery exhibitions and published in books, magazines and calendars. Her fascination with photography began at a very young age when her grandfather built a pinhole camera. She quickly graduated to a Brownie Starmite, happily snapping pictures on every family vacation. A Canon 35mm single lens reflex, a gift from her father during her teenage years, allowed her to pursue her photographic passion in a more professional manner.

The works of Ansel Adams are Carol's predominant influence and inspiration. Speaking of inspiration, Carol was thrilled to participate in a workshop with Charles Cramer, a highly regarded master digital printer, held in Ansel Adams' own photo studio in Yosemite Valley! This experience sparked the transformative development of her digital darkroom skills and nurtured her creative imagination.

And, as luck would have it, Carol had the opportunity of a lifetime to work with famous nature photographer George Lepp at his prestigious Lepp Institute of Digital Imaging. George convinced her to switch from film to digital and she readily absorbed the knowledge and wisdom from George and other notable Lepp Institute instructors.

These exceptional learning experiences melded together to shape what is now Carol's own distinctive style. Today, Carol creates an artistic fusion of creative vision and technical mastery. Nature is her color palette, the sweeping landscape her canvas. The results are beautiful, expressive prints, prints that glow from within. This is where art meets photography.
