La fotografía ha significado diferentes cosas para mí en diferentes momentos de mi vida, desde simple pasatiempos, hasta una gran pasión (rayando en adicción), y en ocasiones terapia y recurso para buscar cosas grandes en lo aparentemente insignificante, un poco más en sentido metafísico que literal, aunque desde luego que también en el literal. Creo que ir por la vida buscando cosas bellas, diferentes, coloridas, conmovedoras, etc., es una buena forma de vivir. No hay como tratar de ver lo extraordinario en lo ordinario, de tratar de ver el mundo desde un punto distinto. No digo que lo logre, sólo digo que vivir buscando la imagen perfecta definitivamente trae otros beneficios y placeres a la vida de quien la busca.

Flickr ha sido de las mejores cosas que he descubierto en la red. No pasa un día que no me maraville con la cantidad y calidad de las fotos increíbles que veo. Estoy agradecida con el círculo de contactos, así como la comunidad de Flickr en general, por hacer de este sitio un gran medio para compartir, hacer nuevos amigos, aprender y mejorar. Gracias a todos!

Desde hace cuatro años nos venimos a vivir a un pueblito playero en Nayarit (en México), totalmente falto de progreso y sofisticación, pero nos compensa con una gran belleza y un tranquilo estilo de vida. Es una buena vida sin duda.

Photography has meant different things at different moments of my life. From a simple hobby to a great passion (bordering with a bit of an addiction), and sometimes a sort of therapy or means to search for greater things in what seams insignificant, and I mean that more metaphysically than literally, even though it definitely also holds to be true in the literal sense. To go through life searching for anything beautiful, colorful, different, moving, etc., is really not a bad way to live. There’s something to be said about looking for the extraordinary in the ordinary, trying to look at the world from a whole different perspective. And I’m not saying I’m there (or ever will be) but searching for the perfect shot certainly brings many other benefits and pleasures to those who take the time to look.

Flickr has been one of the greatest online discoveries for me. Every single day I am blown away by the quantity and quality of the incredible work I find. I am grateful for my circle of contacts and to the Flickr community in general, for making this a great place for sharing, making friends, learning and improving. Thank you all so much!!

Four years ago we moved to a small beach town in Nayarit (in Mexico), it lacks in progress and sophistication, but it compensates us with great beauty and a peaceful way of life. It´s a good life no doubt.
