Photography is a Serious Hobby, Other Passions include Science, Technology and Medicine.
I finally after much research and trial and error found out that my primary area of interest lies in photography, especially fashion photography. I would love to do this better and bigger.
I'm a Software Engineer by profession, i work for a Storage Major for Education Services.
Other than work and Photography I play the Keyboard, i did not learn piano lessons nor do i know proper double handed chord playing but i play with two hands, know a few songs and do it for personal satisfaction. I've been addicted to the keyboard since i was 5.

I have a small request. I would very much appreciate if you avoid placing big banner pictures and colorful dancing animated GIF kind of award pictures. I very much appreciate your comments and your feedback, in fact that is what im here for. To hear from you what you think about my pictures. However these colorful awards and pictures seem to be quite distracting and take away the whole point of photography.
Also please understand i do not do quid pro quo response on comments. Please don't feel offended if i did not respond to your comment. Its not that i don't care or did not value it, i very much did. Like you and everybody else i have very little time since i work a 9 to 5 job for a living.
Having said that if you email me i promise a response no matter how many emails every day. That's how most friends on flickr communicate with me, emails or phone calls.
I would love to hear from you on how better i can do with my photography from what i do right now. So every bit of criticism valid and invalid is welcome. I'm all ears and waiting to listen.

Chitra Aiyer says:
"Dilip - now here's somebody who is unique and wonderful. Really, 2 words arent in any way enough to describe him, but 'unique and wonderful' he definitely is. :)
I like his stream for one reason - his stream is so unlike mine - I enjoy the way he sees the world around him and not to forget, the way he describes his pics to us! Yes, a treat, all the way. :)
And of course, if I don't mention his unbridled enthusiasm, and how contagious that can be, this testimonial would be incomplete. :))
Dilip, here's wishing you the very best, pal. :)"1st November, 2008

Ravages says:
"Dilip takes everything he does with a kind of sincerity and gravity that is sure to impress, as well as take him far in what ever he does. His photography - it's not like you need me to tell you that it is awesome. It is, and it is so apparent.
Great to know you, Dilip. Let's meet again, soon.
It's been 6 odd months since I wrote this testimonial for Dilip and in that time I've come to know him better. His passion and his sometimes dark humour, sometimes light banter is the perfect foil for his technically perfect photos. Get to know the guy."16th April, 2008

"It's so much fun to watch Dilip learn, and he learns extremely fast, and then put his learning into his work. I've been tracking him since he joined flickr and his growth as both a photographer and as a flickr community member has been phenomenal. I'm delighted to call him a contact and more than that, a friend."

"I hope Dilip gets his DSLR. I know what it is like to wish for a nice camera. Dilip takes wonderful pictures. And seeing his photos brings you close to life in India. Certainly a very different culture than the one I am from, and a wonderful and mysterious land.
I look forward everyday to what beautiful images he has captured."2nd July, 2006
