I am always cheerful, positive and with a killer smile ;)

I am originally from Latvia, but latest 6 years I am living in Italy. I have 3 beautiful girls and a wonderful family.

The photography became a big part in my life since 2003. But the beginning was already in 1991, taking photos occasionally with Canon autoboy (AF35), then changing to Sony DSC V-1 in 2004, Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ50 in 2007, that has guide my way to my 1st and not only one at the moment dSLR,- Pentax K10d (that crashed against the stone floor), now I am paired with a Pentax K20D.

The photography has been able to keep my attention for years because it is a continuous challenge and a wonderful hobby itself in my opinion. My favorite genre is a portrait photography (of my kids in particular and other family members, also of friends) and also a documentary photos about places I visit, and I am curious almost of everything, but Now I am starting to hate landscapes, I do need people!

I am happy to join the club of pentaxians. I'm considering to add the Pentax K5 (or the most probably the next one that will come out) to my camera bag asap.
