I work with technology, and digital cameras gave me a good opportunity to restart a photography obsession from way back. Boy, I got it bad again now. :-)

I'm fairly prolific (no guarantee of quality) and I'm also slowly uploading some of my older work. Confusion is to be expected.

I have a blog. Hell, I have a few.

My photoblog, that I keep forgetting to update, is here. Tell me off! My tumblog, which gets a whole lot more love just now, is the place to look...

If you're interested in purchasing anything, you can take a look here for some particularly New Zealand photos, or at Getty Images for more internationally useful stuff.

"ADP's probably my favorite photographer on Flickr. He sees things that no one else does."

"Jim sees the beauty in the details that the rest of us just pass by. He came to my town once, shot a set of photos, and inspired me to wander around and try to find all those things that I had never noticed before. I look forward to each new photo in Jim's stream."

"Love this stream! Your eye, the way you see, is just wonderful. Capturing stuff that surrounds everyday and making it into art :)
    keep it up!"

    Mac Girl says:

"In an ocean of Flickr contacts there are a few that I make a point of looking in on every day. A Different Perspective is at the top of that list. His photos are sometimes poignant, often amusing, usually colorful, and always amazing.

I often find myself struggling to find the words to describe how they make me feel, or to identify all of the things that I like about each image. Sometimes I just give up trying, Favorite the shot, and move on the the next, only to find myself amazed and wrestling for words again.

Like all of us, he has "good" shots and "great" shots, but even his "good" shots are light years ahead of most people's best, and the "great" ones will blow you away."

"A Different Perspective. Quite a daring name, but this guy makes it true. He is very productive and his pictures are... sharp, stylish and have a kind of attractive minimalism. He should be more popular. Have a look around and enjoy the aesthetics."

    language.goddess says:

"Two things absolutely knock me out about his photos: the COLORS, and the way he sees beauty and uniqueness in the most ordinary, throw-away moments and easy-to-overlook common sights. That is what transforms a photo into art, for me."

"Different_Perspective has a great eye - perhaps one of the best in FlickR. I like these pictures a lot, they impresse me a lot und give me tons of ideas for my own shot. Thanks for sharing!"
