My interest in photography started in my early teens when with my little pocket money, I bought a fujifilm fixed focus film camera.
Then my interested and love fell when I jumped into a pentax shop and bought my first ever slr, a P30T. A manual focus, film camera with titanium body and a 28-80mm zoom lens. This camera was my companion for long years until the early days of digital camera. My venerable P30T travelled with me across Europe and also accompanied me during my honeymoon.
My second slr was an autofocus *ist (2nd hand from ebay). Sharp focus and extremely lightweight and easy to use, but unfortunately it didn't prove to be very reliable.
My first ever digital camera was a compact point-and-shoot Nikon E2100 with a 2Mpx sensor and a 3x optical zoom, no great optics but still manage to get quite good results.
Now I'm back to Pentax cameras and a complete Pentaxian.
