    Inanimate Life Photography says:

"If one of Tara's tiny people stuck her with a tiny pin, she would explode massive amounts of creativity, of which I would frantically dive left and right to gather up.

I am always looking forward to her latest. She has an incredible eye for lighting, and her creative compositions are boundless. Her photography inspires me, makes me laugh, makes me think, makes me damn glad to have her as a contact. She is a true artist in every sense of the word.

    Sincerely, Jason"

but more importantly: I get the feeling that if I found myself locked out of my apartment in my undies with a confusing ups package not even addressed to me and an extremely important conference call taking place without me behind my locked door, she'd be the right person to call to go for a drink while I waited for the concierge to show up.

and it's best to trust such feelings."

"Diving into her 'Toy' flow is like travelling into a small corner of her mind. It's a journey into childhood associations and moment - remixed from a adult's perspective and her personal brand of surrealism.

She avoid 'blurry' moments and other typical aspects of artyfarty flirckraties. Her images are sharp and clean, there is order, composition and strong colours. Her spirit can't stand vague statements, she needs contrast and cleaness.

Even her self portraits tell a story of that conscious artistic control, of a strong sender taking care of her image and images."

"I see that I am the 21st person to be writing a testimonial for Diastema, which is ample tribute to the impact she has made on Flickr, and the bribes she has been prepared to pay.

It's very difficult to be noticed in a photographic forum with about 2m people uploading pictures daily, but Tara has achieved a rare feat. Her style is completely distinctive and highly addictive and there are tens of thousands of us who keep coming back for more. Well, five or six of us, anyway.

Of course, the nudity doesn't hurt. And did I mention that she's very funny ?"

Someone apparently forgot to tell her not to play with her food, or she just ignored that admonishment, to the great benefit and enjoyment of us all. These aren't the typical photos I'm attracted to, but dang it, she's worked some magic on these mundane toys and goodies and made some fine art. The witty captions and descriptions don't hurt either. I'll be coming back to Tara's photostream again and again."

Her photo stream is the most imaginative, witty, clever and colorful, that I have waded in. Let alone the most yummy, like that of a fresh peep on Easter, as well as the finest dessert. I truly enjoy the moments/landscapes she creates and those already in existence, waiting for her to capture. A poet, an architect, visual artist, and now, one of my contacts."

    She tastes delicious."

Her photos bely a certain mildly eccentric personality; and they are fun, beautiful and wicked cool to boot.
