But more than the fact that she has two adorable dogs, It's how she captures every picture, really doing justice to getting "the moment" just right, and evoking feelings of joy and contentment with her pictures. Her use of framing, lighting, everything really is absolutely fantastic, it's no shock whatsoever that virtually every photo is explored.   "I am a huge fan of Dexter and Ella photos. I always look for Elizabeth's new images (Dexell1827's brains!) whenever I log in to my account. I have a Golden myself, and I know what great dogs they are. But what I love about Elizabeth's photos is the way she shows the incredible relationship that these two dogs have, and also how easy it is to see that they are like children to her. Humor, love, and/or beauty emanate from each photo that is posted. Elizabeth's photos are amazingly creative and fresh. Without using some of the elaborate set up that WIlliam Wegman's amazingly humorous Wiemereiner dog photos Elizabeth has carved her own niche in the world of animal or dog photographers. I have learned to love her pretty hardwood floors, her patterned sheets, pillow stuffing, and ripped comforter. I have seen her dogs fly. I have seen their sweet side and their mischievous side. I love it ALL. She entertains so many people worldwide who are devotees of her site. Keep up the good work, Elizabeth, and I will DEFINITELY buy a copy of your BOOK that needs to be PUBLISHED someday. YEA YOU."

  "There are fantastic reasons that Golden Retrievers are one of the most popular breeds of dogs in the world. They're beautiful; they're full of boundless energy; they're loyal; and they are veritable fountains of love, positivity and joy.
  
  Elizabeth, aka Dexell1827, is the proud mama of GORGEOUS Golden Retrievers, and in this case, the canine apples haven't fallen far from the tree.
  
  And yes, I realize that in my effusiveness for both Goldens and for Dexell, I kinda compared her to a breed of dog, but it's one of the most awesome breeds out there!

  And as a fellow parent of lots of quadrupeds, I can think of no better compliment than to say that Elizabeth's gorgeous Goldens absolutely reflect her zest for life and her ability to spread sunshine wherever she goes.
  
  Elizabeth's handle -- Dexell -- is a combination of the names of her dogs, Dexter and Ella -- and that's more than just cute. It shows just how important those furry babies are to her, and it reflects, too, just how devoted she is to her canine companions. In my mind, that says clearly just how awesome a person Elizabeth is.
  
  Take a gander at her photos. You'll see that she is quite talented. She has a photographer's eye, and I don't mean just stored in a jar in a closet. At least not that I know of.

  All kidding aside, Dexell really, really knows how to frame a photograph. And she takes both portraits and action shots of her furry babies that are, in turns, both heartwarming and eye-popping. It's not easy to photograph any animal in a way that is not a snapshot. And trying to artistically capture a Golden -- a dog with more energy than the sun! -- is even more difficult.
  
  And Elizabeth does it adroitly. I've not met her in person, but I count myself lucky to have met her through Flickr. Elizabeth is a great photographer and a great Flickr friend who gives helpful and supportive comments.
  
  In short, she has the heart of a Golden, and there can be no greater compliment."

  "I have quickly become a Dexter and Ella fan. Before I look at any sunsets, flowers or beautiful nature shots, I look to see what Dexell1827 has posted. Her photos are usually of her most beautiful, fun loving and precious golden retreivers I have ever seen. It's the first thing I look for in the morning, check flickr again in the afternoon, and before I go to bed. I think my dogs are getting jealous! lol Not only that, but Elizabeth truly knows how to title her photos which gives me an extra laugh and smile!
