I am a 27-year old Spanish girl and I love to cook.



I got my first camera when I was 9 years old. I used to shoot what back then I considered landscapes and I also liked to ask other people to take pictures of me.
Of those old times of expensive rolls, I keep a bunch of photographs still waiting to be put in albums.

When I turned 16 I got a small APS camera that lived enough to picture my first years of university. Of those years I keep an even bigger bunch of photographs also waiting to be put in albums.

When I was 20, I switched to digital. My first digital camera cost me a month salary of working weekends in a fast-food place. It had about 2 pixels and was heavy.

Later came the times of borrowing friends' 5.5 megapixels camera to document trips, photowalks with A and other social events.

When I was 22, I got my little Konica Minolta. She (yes, it's a girl) moved to Switzerland with me for 14 months and gave me great times and pictures. I still carry her in my handbag sometimes.

Then, before going back to Spain I met this guy and before turning 25, he bought me a Canon EOS350D, which gave me wonderful days and images.

Somehow, he talked me into moving back to Switzerland with him and I did (!) in January 2008.

The only lens I currently own is a Canon 28mm f 1.8 (also a gift from him!). But I have adopted his 50mm f1.8 and use regularly some of the other lenses he owns (Tamron 17-50 f 2.8, Canon 28-105 f.3.5…).

My first real investment in a camera has been my Canon EOS 500D, which I got in July 2009 and is the camera that I currently use.

Of al lthose digital years, I keep now thousands of files in CDs, DVDs and my external disc, still pending to be classified and printed in albums.



I keep telling myself I'll make the albums some day; just don't know yet when ;)
