G'day. I've been known as Wombat for years. While teaching in India for a year it became Desiwombat. Desi is Punjabi for rural­ or village­. It can mean someone who likes pastoral places. It can also mean someone who enjoys country liquor. I'm an Aussie of Swiss and English background. Love travelling and cooking. I'm a great armchair traveller too. I have an abiding interest in religion. Bhakti philosophy, Sikhism, Sufi teachings and Rastafarai are paths that hold special meaning for me. I've wandered some in Australia, New Zealand, Asia, the Pacific, Canada, USA, Egypt and England. Keep smiling. Cheers
