I came back to photography after being away from it for several years due to family obligations. I enjoy what photography is all about, what it means to me and also how it has come to define me as a photographer. Currently shooting with a Nikon D80 and as of 9/22/2011 added a Nikon D7000 to my arsenal.

As full time caregiver to my husband who is a 12 year stroke invalid and also working full time, photography provides the personal time and space to explore my surroundings and clear the cowebs so in a sense it's theraputic for me as well.



Flickr contributors continue to provide me with inspiration and knowledge and I truly appreciate photos that touch my soul or make me sit up and take notice with "Wow..now why can't I do that".
