I'm a (now not-so-recent) transplant from Vancouver, BC, to Madison, WI. I like taking pictures of whatever catches my eye, and I'm using the instant feedback of digital photography to try to teach myself how to make those pictures look good.
Our son Finn was born on September 16, 2005, and immediately became the subject of the vast majority of my photos. So what used to be a "post those rare pictures I take that seem to me to have some technical and artistic merit" site became a "post the best snapshots of my kid and the even rarer picture that seems to me to have some technical and artistic merit" site.
