My photostream on Flickr consists of scans from original vintage images in my personal collection and my own photos. Stereophotography makes up a large portion of both categories. Shortly after joining Flickr I warmed up to the idea of making anaglyphs realizing that for their plentiful shortcomings they seem to be the most likely way to make the depth element of stereo images accessible to a broader audience, at least until better technology becomes more ubiquitous. Images labeled "ANAGLYPH 3D" are viewable using any old pair of red/cyan 3D glasses. Paired stereo images in my photostream labeled "=view" are viewable by the "parallel free viewing" method or with a variety of inexpensive viewing aids available on the Internet.

I became interested in stereophotography by way of antique stereoviews when in my 20's in the late 1990's. Eventually I was introduced to the stereo cameras of the 1950's and started making transparencies with a Stereo Realist. In recent years I've been working with digital camera setups to make prints for card mounted stereoviews with letterpress printed mounts.

If you appear in a photo in my photostream and do not approve of it being here please let me know.
