August 2007 -

I "inherited" a beat-up Canon EOS400D from my dad recently, just before my journey to Tibet. I wanted to give this SLR a go, since I wasn't sure if I was really into photography.

Well, I guess after the trip I am a whole lot more interested. But then again, anyone with a good eye and a decent SLR can go to TIbet and take great pictures. Tibet is special in that sense.

The challenge for me, it seems, is to go underwater. For that I will need one sturdy housing which I am currently saving to buy, as well as more experience in photography. So here's to the start of my photography journey - hopefully that will end up under the ocean! :D
