I’m running for Congress because I want to make a difference in my state at this critical time in our nation’s history. With so many people struggling, it’s time to move beyond partisanship and political gridlock to reach consensus on the issues that matter most to Iowans. In short, Iowans deserve sensible and pragmatic leadership.

As an Iowan born and raised in a small farming community, I understand first-hand the enormous challenges before us. As a leader from the world of global business and economics, I have the experience and understanding necessary to tackle the tough issues we all face. This election is about moving our 5th District community, our state, and our nation forward. It’s time to take advantage of our greatest strengths: Iowa values and the Iowa work ethic.
