I am a semi-retired freelance photographer based in Vestavia Hills, Alabama (a suburb of Birmingham). I still accept assignments if the subject matter and potential clients interest me. Over the years I've photographed sports (several awards), news, editorials, advertisements, architectural (interior and exterior), nature (another award-winning side), artwork, scientific, and most recently, all types of dance.

My photos have been published in over 1,000 magazines, books, and no one knows how many web sites.

I'm also very involved in community activities serving on the Vestavia Hills Planning and Zoning Commission as well as the Alabama State Board of Examiners for Assisted Living Administrators.

Hope you enjoy my photos. The ones I post here are deliberately LOWER-res images. They might make a decent print if you copied them ... providing, of course, that you don't want anything bigger than a postage stamp for a print.
