The Amish believe that if a picture is taken of you it captures part of your soul and runs the risk of breaking the Second Commandment: "You shall not make for yourself an idol, whether in the form of anything that is in heaven above, or that is on the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.". I think the Amish are right on one account, and I'm all for soul capturing. I believe God is in all things, including the beckoning in my soul to take photographs.

I am passionate about being passionate, about living a life of love, embracing freedom, climbing things, changing, learning, honesty, reality, strength, weakness, courage, beauty. I love taking pictures and infusing these elements into my captures. I shoot exclusively film on my '74 Asahi Pentax Spotmatic F and '68 Minolta SRT 101. Welcome to my eyes. =0)
