Brought up and raised in Hong Kong. Grew up in a city of high rises and concrete jungle, I found solace in and appreciation for the wilderness in between concrete pillars of apartment buildings, out in the Outlying Islands and The New Territories. Living in the Bay Area since 2000, a career crises in the big corporate world in late 2002 led me to change my life and career. With much hardship working part-time and going to college part-time I finally earned degree in Environmental Horticulture and Design at Foothill College. I am now a practicing horticulturist at The Village Gardener in CA with special interests in California Native Plants in the wild and in the garden, and also pursuing my art in photography.
