Oops, didn't think about updating this thing for a while. Too many bits of me scattered about the great wide internets, I guess.

I work in the Cable Television and Telecomm industry doing engineering and design work for the major (and some minor) CATV companies around the US. Spend a lot of my day buried in AutoCad and other drafting software making network maps for the Cable guys. Spend other parts in design software figuring out where to place all the electronic equipment that gets your cable into the back of your television. I also do a lot of computer troubleshooting, network stuff and IT things that I've learned by the seat of my pants.
