My Studio

With well over 59,900 square miles of space with 35% of it covered by forest and loaded with over 480 different kinds of birds with running freshwater and saltwater alike, I think I can say I have the most unique studio of all!

My studio is the entire “outdoors”. Built by the Hands of God.

Nature - away from chaos, everyday pressures, stress and deadlines. To communicate and adore all that God has created.

A friend asked me at one time, "If you could be anything in the world, what would it be?"

My Answer, "A Wildlife, Nature Photographer!

Photography is my passion! I live for the perfect shot.
Each aspect of wildlife is so incredibly different.
I specialize in photographing birds, and our sensitive wildlife. There is a healing quality from Nature and I am fascinated with its presence.

The message in my photographs is an expression of my belief in a Creator.

Nature takes care of of my soul. It is my sanctuary and I photograph it to educate the world about the critical issues it faces. I use my talent to reach far beyond sales of prints and books, I do it to help preserve our wild places.

deborahkunzie.com is my place to write and display nature and wildlife as I see it. So I am putting on my Tilly Hat, my Keen shoes and heading for the woods.

My passion for photography coupled with many years of web development enables me to create side-projects to further expose my craft.Some may remark that having too many websites is a lot to handle. I call it part of the business.What is the difference of exposing ones work in several galleries at a time or attending art shows or other avenues to display the work?The ability to create a handful of websites gives me more ways to share my love of photography and to reach more people in the world through my lens.
