Flickr Friends...I am dropping my pro account. I don't upload that much to flickr very much anymore. I have a regular website and a facebook photo page and just don't have time to keep it up.

I live in East Tennessee and enjoy all kinds of nature photography and taking shots of my kids and whoever else gets in my way. With my camera that is.
If you look through my photostream, you are likely to see photos of wildlife, birds, flowers, insects, scenics, streams and anything that is nature.
Born and raised in a beautiful county with alot of diversity. From the the lakes way up to the mountains and all the places in between. Maryville College Woods is a favorite place of mine.
Most of my photography is in Cades Cove in the Great Smoky Mountains of East Tennessee. I love the cove for all that it is. A home to various species of wildlife and birds, a window into the past with old cabins and homesites, and a place to just stop and take in all the breathtaking views. I try to capture as many elements of this area as I can. I am drawn back to the cove time and again. There is always something new to photograph.
If you've never been to Blount Co. or the Great Smoky Mountains I highy recommend it. The Smokies have so much to offer. hiking, camping, wildlife, waterfalls, awesome views and so much more.

All just a 30 minute drive from my house.
I have been an avid photographer for over 25 years.

I shoot with a Sony a77 and a Sony a700 and am proud of it. It's nice to be able to stay out of that "which is better" debate. Canon or Nikon? I vote neither.
A camera is only as good as the person behind it.
