Dean Dornic, MD is an ophthalmologist practicing in the Raleigh Durham area of North Carolina. He is a native of Monongahela, PA where he graduated from Ringgold High School. He attended the University of Pittsburgh where he met his wife Pam. He also graduated from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry and taught briefly at Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN. He went on to medical school at the University of Oklahoma. His internship was at the Cleveland Clinic and his ophthalmology residency was at Case Western Reserve University Hospitals. Dr. Dornic received additional training in refractive surgery at the Sinskey Eye Institute in Santa Monica, CA. Along the way he accumulated three children, Matthew, Jevin and Elyssa all of whom he is very proud.
