Hello! My name is Deana. I have been photographing, painting, drawing, designing, and creating since 2008. I recently graduated from high school and am currently studying at the Art Institute of Portland. I have found throughout this ever-pressing journey of life that this art is really best created in the throws of emotion, and that thought isn't really something that creates good art one hundred percent of the time. I have and continue to be published in online magazines, books, and other publications around the world before studying a single thing about cameras or photography in general.

I must say that physically studying photography and attempting to create a life out of it feels quite beyond me at this moment. It is strange to think that their can be any structure at all in art. It is difficult for me to grasp. I have lost my creativity with the structures of society, and have been traveling up and down the coast trying to get it back. I am lost in a transitional period.

I began my photography in 2007 with an old Canon Film camera and moved up to a digital Nikon D-40 in 2008. I now shoot with a Nikon D-90 and study photography and design in Portland.
