She's the cold snap that ruins your Florida vacation. She's the H1 in H1N1. She is a lot of things, but nothing more so than a fantastic photographer.
  
  Like Ferris Bueller on the Clarinet, she can boldly say, "Not one lesson." A natural born talent, she takes photographs of things you would walk by every day and never see. She makes these everyday items into art that you kick yourself for missing. Oh and all that stuff I said about her being mean, none of that is really true. She acts tough but that is truly an act. She's supportive and encouraging. I'm proud to call Deadbetty a friend, if just a tad jealous of her oodles and oodles of talent.
  
  As Sean Connery and Burt Reynolds would say, "This crazy chic is teh awesome."
  
  Oh, and she has a ton of testimonials, too. But none of those people dedicated an entire set on their photo-stream to her style. SUCK IT, OTHER PEOPLE!

Not even she knew that ignoring her teachers, sneaking out to get drunk and sleep with truckers, collecting cats like your old maid aunt, and slinging booze at biker bars would turn her into the amazing artist that she is now. As Darth Vader said, "You can't fake this shit, not even with the power of the Dark Side."

I can tell which shots are hers immediately. They never fail to amuse, delight and inspire. Her colour pallet is her own. She has a way of showing ordinary things and making them extraordinary. I love her style, and the kinds of things that draw her eye. Her photos are always colorful, visually arresting, and blah blah blah -- all that good stuff you expect from a photographer. But there are thousands of Flickerites that have those basic qualities, and frankly...most of them bore me to tears.
