Uncle Foto says:
"Dead Air is a good Flickr contact who is generous with me in spirit and in acknowledging my photos with kind remarks of encouragements and I am fortunate about this.
In all my endorsements (numerous) I have always stated he is an avant garde photographer where it is a delight to see what he is accomplishing with his photos, I must admit I borrow his good foto ideas.
Whether my testimonial disappears again in the future, that doesn't change the fact that today, and as always in the past and in the future my endorsement for his foto talent and photography will always remain, that Dead Air is simply an avant garde photographer, good at it.
Cheers Mon. May the Zen be with you."22nd August, 2008

Cassandra's Eye says:
"His pixels are a challenge to my retina. An apple falls, a question is launched and the air is left singed. I'll look for him in the future. With both eyes open."

"Ricardo shows us a world that does exist, but only a few are able to see!! There are dimensions and elements all to be discovered with ricardos photography ... and a new lease on emotion!"

Sati Kobashi says:
"When I first visited Dead Air's stream, I was kind of shocked... yeah, for a person who only saw things under "standardized" eyes, his work was out of this world and very challenging to be understood for me.
Of course, it caught immediatly my attention and now I can say that Dead Air was the one who opened my eyes and my mind to the vast Photography world. His works made me challange myself to go to my outerlimits and for this, I am deeply thankful to him!
And I thank him too for his dedication as administrator of the "Feel Me, Post Me!" group. His sensitivity and care for others are admirable.
What I say to you who is visiting Dead Air's stream for the first time is: "Have a great and deep dive!". I'm sure you will come back..."1st January, 2007

DerrickT says:
"Ricardo has a knack for creating images that border-line schizophrenia and insanity, often uploading images that make me wish I was part of an interval of soundwash, gathered in a cave and groovin' with a pixel. I am a firm believer that his images are more than psychological; more than a phenomenon; more than what the eye meets. I love visiting his stream because I am always guaranteed something different with each visit! He provides me with a 'ticket' for my brain and white noise for my visual, and I have enjoyed his 'titles' of late as well.
His band, The Dead Air Fresheners, are yet another rewarding "force" to explore also (!); giving one a psychedelic-ambience that would have made John Cage's head explode; Throbbing Gristle's 'gristle' to eternally ache; Luc Ferrari's "Hétérozygote" ripping the sun into a vegetable, and I think you get the point. Basically, I've always wanted to be in a band like his. If you're not familiar, then look them up as quickly as you can say Kiroombo!
Keep experimenting, my friend. It's a pleasure to know you and to be able to visit your stream!"14th December, 2006

"DEAD AIR - I used to call him EVER ALIVE - He is So through his Photographs - He is So Through his Discussions - He is so Through frpom his comments - and above all he is so through his carrier - he can not be a DEAD AIR - His charecter made him EVER ALIVE AIR
See his Photos - Different in nature - at the begging I used to make Favs of his Photos - Now I don't Do since I made himself as My Fav Man - A humble Man - seems he Does.t know much of his capacity - offcourse one should not otherwise one can not grow more and More
I don't know why My heart beats for him - he is such an attractive man - A Man in need for Man kind .
I feel I am not a Proper person to rite about such a Nice Man - yet this is a Try - a try - a try -------------------------"17th October, 2006

Jonas Thomén says:
"I got to know dead air from a religious argument, yes really... (but that was misunderstanding to begin with) since then I've been admiring his pictures in "my contacts". I think of him maybe more as a philosopher then an ordinary photographer, nothing is ordinary about his works... and in this world you have to be different to stick out. Dead Air is very different and that is why I like him."
